Hoff-Larocca, Riley J. Age 26, passed away suddenly on Friday morning, April 14, 2017, of injuries sustained in an auto accident near his home in Taylors Falls, MN. Riley was a Corrections Officer for the Polk County, WI Sheriff's Office at the Balsam Lake Jail. Beloved son of Kathleen "Katie" (nee McFarland) and Luke Larocca, Tina and Eric Hoff; loving brother of Laura, Luke and Caroline Larocca, Lynn and Morgan Hoff; cherished grandson of Margaret "Peggy" (nee Barry) and Thomas McFarland, and Catherine "Pat" (nee Kramer) and Thomas Larocca. Nephew of Thomas, Barry and Matthew McFarland, Beth, Cathy, Thomas and John Larocca, Daryce Nolan and Greg Hoff; dear cousin and friend of many. A longtime Flossmoor resident, Riley was a graduate of Homewood-Flossmoor H.S. and the University of Illinois where he proudly assisted the U. of I. Tennis team for 4 years. Whether it be teaching tennis at Olympia Fields C.C. or English in Korea, assisting with healthcare in Uganda or tending bar in Ireland, he lived his life with a passion and a sense of urgency that defied the norm, but made for lasting memories and friendships worldwide. He will be missed. Resting at Panozzo Bros.
