Harry P. O'Malley, Esq. HAMILTON Harry P. O'Malley, Esq., 66, of Hamilton, entered into God's eternal rest on Friday, April 14, 2017, at the Compassionate Care Hospice Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, Harry was a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of St. Anthony's Class of 1968, and Trenton State College Class of 1972. Harry went on to earn his law degree from Temple University School of Law. Harry worked for the Mercer County Surrogate's Office as deputy county surrogate for many years, where he was well respected in the community and among his colleagues and peers. He was unfailingly polite and professional during his 40-year career. He was a frequent presenter at continuing legal education programs throughout the State of New Jersey, where he gave freely of his time and expertise. Harry's work as the deputy surrogate enhanced the reputation of the Mercer County Surrogate's Office in the legal community and beyond. Harry also had his own practice in Hamilton Township, and was a member of the Mercer County Bar Association. Harry was a legacy. Harry loved his work and enjoyed reading, especially about history. He was charitable, often offering legal advice to others at no expense. He was a loving and dedicated father to his beloved daughter, Lauren, coaching her soccer team for many years. She was the light of his life. Harry was predeceased by his father, Matthew O'Malley. He is survived by his mother, Catherine (Foley) O'Malley; his beloved wife of 43 years, Donna (Mazzagetti) O'Malley; his loving daughter, Lauren O'Malley; his three brothers and sisters-in-law, Matthew and Mary O'Malley, Francis and Joanne O'Malley, and Gerard and Bridget O'Malley; a best friend, Jerome Ballarotto and wife, Tina, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members and friends. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, April 19, from 5 to 9 p.m. and Thursday morning from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ. 08619. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, April 20 at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Sq. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey St., Hamilton.
