Felice DeFrancesco, 89 Dearest husband, father and grandfather, native of Italy Felice (Philly D) DeFrancesco, 89, Korean War vet and retired Hi-Lo driver for Procter & Gamble for over 40 years, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on April 13, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Frances (nee Paratore); his children, Frank (Phyllis) and Susan Castagno (Joseph); his six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and his brother, Alfonse. He was predeceased by his great- grandson JJ. Born in Italy, Felice came to Staten Island at the age of 13 and started working at P&G at the age of 16. It is there he met the love of his life, Frances. Felice was a devoted husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, playing cards with his friends and family, Tuesday morning bingo and, most importantly, taking care of his garden. The wake will be held at Matthew Funeral Home, Westerleigh, S.I., on April 17, 2017, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be at St. Roch's Church, Port Richmond, S.I., on April 18, 2017 at 12 noon.
