In August 1968, Bill was offered a scholarship to attend Indiana University where he completed his master's degree. Bill went to work as a civil engineer with the City of Bloomington where he worked for 27 years until his retirement. Bill and Barb met in 1985 in Bloomington and were married May 3, 1989 on the riverboat Natchez in New Orleans, LA.
