In memory of
Lillian Margarete Flowers
Lillian Margarete Flowers San Angelo Lillian Margarete Flowers passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017. She is survived by her brother Groves E. Kuykendall and his wife Shirley as well as five nephews Kyle, Mark, George, Chris and Dana Kuykendall and their families, also by her very special friend Julia Rogge. She is preceded in death by her parents Laurence and Ella Kuykendall and brother, William R. Kuykendall. Lillian was born in Llano, Texas, later moving to San Angelo where she grew up and finished school. Once having half ownership in a gem and mineral business, she traveled extensively in Mexico and the U.S. She later became a LVN and was appointed by then Governor George Bush to serve as President of what was then the Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners in 1998. Lillian was a masterful chef and this talent made the holidays and get-togethers, she lived for that, much more special to all that came to her home. Christmas and Easter were her times to shine both in terms of her cuisine and the love she showered on her family, which she did always without fail. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be given to the Emmanuel Episcopal Church's Altar Guild.
