Betty Lois Bell Edwards Feb. 12, 1932--April 14, 2017 Pass Christian, MS Betty Lois Bell Edwards of Pass Christian, MS passed away peacefully on Good Friday, April 14, 2017. She was born in Kinder, LA and later married Elbert Ellis Edwards on October 6, 1951. She was a resident of Hancock County for thirty-two years in Bay St. Louis, and most recently in Harrison County in Pass Christian for the last sixteen years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Elbert Ellis Edwards; parents, Argart Fruge Bell and George Bell of Kinder, LA; brother, Lovelin (Felo) Alfred Bell of Kinder, LA; sister, Frances Bell Krost of Bay St. Louis, MS; and grandson, Patrick Macklin. She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church on Main Street in Bay St. Louis, MS. She loved deeply, unconditionally, treated others compassionately; devoting her life to being a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her five children: David Edwards and wife, Kim; Donna Edwards Flowers and deceased husband, Richard; Deborah Edwards Russo and husband, Nick; Diane Edwards Bourgeois and husband, Gene; and Daniel Edwards and wife, Anna. She loved and cherished her nine grandchildren (David Flowers, Michael Flowers, Christopher Flowers, Kayla Russo Worrel, Kacey Edwards Ponthieux, Jeremy Edwards, Gene Bourgeois, Jarrod Bourgeois, and Jenny Bello) and sixteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the First Baptist Church on Main Street in Bay St. Louis, MS from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 1:00 pm. Interment will be in Gulf Coast Memorial Cemetery & Mausoleum also in Bay St. Louis. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America or another charity of one's choice. Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS is in charge of the arrangements. .
