Arnold Dewane Davis
Arnold Dewane Davis, 87, of Cowansville passed away Thursday at ACMH. Born April 20, 1929, in Worthington, he was the son of the late James and Mary Emminger Davis. Arnold was a farmer. Farming gave him his greatest enjoyment. Also, he was supervisor at Pullman Standard. He was a member of the Union First Presbyterian Church and was also a member of the Kittanning East Brady F&AM Lodge 244. Arnold is survived by his wife of 67 years, Virginia Jean Davis of Cowansville; his daughters, Debbie (Pete) Douglass of East Brady, Jackie (David) Scotka of Hawaii, Barbie (Richard) Johns of Cowansville and Sandi (Rob) Kapp of Cowansville; his grandchildren, Tim Douglass of Cowansville, Chasity (Steve) Evans of Cowansville, Carl DeBacco of East Brady, Alexis (David) Companion of Cowansville, Michael (Stephanie) DeBacco of Cowansville, Pete (Stephanie) Douglass Jr. of East Brady, Josh (Carrie) Douglass of Karns City, Kyle Scotka of Hawaii and Kayla Scotka of Hawaii; and his great-grandchildren, Garrett, Eddie, Isaac, Alexz, Gianna, Blake, Coltin and Case. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Sonny Davis; his great-grandson, Christopher Douglass; his brother, Ervin Davis; and his sister, Betty Davis Edwards. DAVIS - Friends of Arnold Dewane Davis, who died Thursday, April 13, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 832 East Brady Road, Cowansville. Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Union First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Mary Marks-King officiating. Interment will take place at the Lawn Haven Burial Estates. Memorial contributions may be made to the memorial fund at the Union First Presbyterian Church, 824 East Brady Road, Cowansville, PA 16218.
