JON ALAN KOKER Jon Alan Koker passed away on 4/12/17 at 73 years of age. Jon was born to Fred and Dorothy Koker in Ottawa, Kansas on May 11th 1943. He moved as a baby to the Tri-Cities and spent most of his life in Kennewick and Pasco. Jon was most recently employed as an in home care provider at Tri-City Residential Services where a work injury forced his retirement just six months ago. Jon was married to Sandra (Christensen) Meigs in 1961. From this union two daughters were born. Jon was married to Lorna Davis for a number of years and together they owned The Cowboy Club. Jon first met Lyla Vooge in 1973 and they reconnected in 1999. Jon and Lyla wed at Beverly Beach, surrounded by family, in 2003. Jon was preceded in death by both parents and siblings Kurt, Kim and Rick. He is survived by his loving wife Lyla, daughters Debra (Randy) Mettille, Jeri Lynn (Mike) Paull, Lori (Harvey) Brown, Dani (Rich) Hole, and son Michael Stroud; grandchildren Deena & Paul Mettille, Tony (Hailey) Paull, Jon (Iris) Paull, Jordan Brown and Christian Castillo and great grandchildren Jacob and Carlie Paull. Jon loved spending time with his family at the Oregon Coast and taking his grandchildren to baseball games. Jon was a long time baseball coach in Kennewick and until four years ago coached baseball at Park Middle School. Jon was an avid sports enthusiast, loyal Mariners and Seahawks fan, and previously sponsored the semi-pro baseball team the Tri-City Posse's. Jon loved unconditionally and will remain in the hearts of those who dearly loved him.
