SCOTT C. PARKER
February 26, 1969- March 9, 2017 Scott C. Parker, age 48, of Sedro-Woolley, WA passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Skagit Valley Hospital after an extended heart condition. He was born on February 26, 1969 in Bremerton, WA to Chuck and Kay (Lusk) Parker of Port Gamble, WA. He attended school in Allyn; Suquamish; Poulsbo and graduated from Lakewood (Smokey Point), WA in 1997. After graduation he moved to Whatcom County and started his vinyl siding career. He was meticulous about his craft and was proud that he never had a call back. In his 30's he traveled all over Eastern Washington and Northwest Washington. He was never at the same job for more than two months. His last job was a three story on the north shore of Lake Cavanaugh. In 1993 he married Tasha Roughton of Acme, WA. They had two sons Keith and Trent. Though they did not stay together the family was close. For his 6th birthday he got a used Honda 50, this started a life long passion for motocross. He raced every class from beginner to semi-pro and had many trophies. An ankle injury in 2004 ended his racing. Scott also loved to fish. He would take off slack days to fish the Stilly, Sauk, Skagit and Nooksack. He also followed the Seahawks with his sons. From high school, work and motocross he had many friends and was visited by some of them while he was at Skagit. He was preceded in death by his mother Kathryn Mae (Lusk) Parker and his grandparents Alton and Ethel (Coffelt) Parker of Ferndale and Jim and Pat Lusk of Deming, WA. He is survived by his father, Charles A. Parker of Sedro-Woolley, WA; his brother Jeffery W. (Michelle) Parker of Columbia, SC; his sons Keith and Trent of Sedro-Woolley, WA and uncles Bill (Diana) Parker of Ferndale, WA and Terry Lusk of Sudden Valley, WA; aunts Nancy (Don) Wright of Sun City, AZ; Linda (Preston) Ross of Shoals IN; Dorothy (Jon) Roemer of Sequim, WA and Betty Lusk of Marysville, WA; ten first cousins scattered over the U.S. Family requests no flowers or donations. An outdoor memorial is planned for the summer.
