FALL, Dorothy (Osborne) Age 99, a longtime resident of Quincy, died peacefully, Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the John Adams HealthCare Center, in the presence of her daughter. Dorothy was born in Everett to the late John and Addie (Bailey) Osborne. She was raised and educated in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School. She had lived in Quincy for sixty-five years. Dorothy was a homemaker who was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a daily communicant of the former Saint Boniface Church in Germantown for many years. Dorothy was an avid walker and enjoyed traveling with her late husband, David. Beloved wife of the late David I. Fall. Devoted mother of Wayne F. Jansen & his wife Paula of Braintree, Nora L. Reardon & her husband Robert of Quincy. Loving grandmother of 7 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren. One of five siblings, Dorothy was predeceased by John Osborne, Adeline Bacon, Helen Sherman, and Frederick Osborne. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, QUINCY, Monday, March 20th at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 227 Sea Street, Quincy at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours at the funeral home on Sunday 2-5 p.m. Interment Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
