Norman Nance Sedgwick died March 4, 2017 in Idaho Falls, ID. He was born October 1, 1929 in Salt Lake City, UT to Roland Birningham Sedgwick and Zira Helena Nance Sedgwick. He married his high school sweetheart, Carma Lucina Waite, on October 14, 1949 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and they enjoyed 67 years together raising 6 children. They lived in Sacramento for 54 years and have resided in Idaho Falls for 6 months. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving faithfully in many positions, including Bishop and Temple worker. He owned and operated D & B Meat Co. & Valley Food Bank. He is survived by his wife, Carma Sedgwick and his children, Corey Sedgwick (Joan), Shelly Harris (Ken), Terry Purcell (Mark), Tonja Poppleton (Joe), Tracy Ricks (Brian), and Norman Alan Sedgwick, as well as 19 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by 3 siblings, Stephen Sedgwick, Sandra Banks, and Bruce Sedgwick. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Norma Sedgwick and Beverly Hatch.
