BECKER, John Cornelius John Cornelius Becker, born in Brooklyn, NY on March 2, 1934 passed away at age 82 on February 15, 2017, surrounded by his family at TrustBridge Hospice in West Palm Beach, FL. John is survived by his wife of 56 years Teresa "Teddy" and his children John Becker, Jr., Matthew Becker (Terri), Jacqueline Terrazas (Sam), Teresa Emerton (Erik Harikkala); his grandchildren Mia, Justin (Ashley), Samantha, Alexis (Noe), Andrea (Nick), Amy (Brandon), Summer and step grandson Shane (Amy) and great-grandchildren Brayden and Paisley. Worked as a lifeguard at the Lake Worth Pool, Girl Scout Pool, Clewiston, FL and Palm Beach Gardens Aquatic Complex until the age of 75. John was very involved in the community, he was an Instructor Trainer for the American Red Cross, a recipient of the Kelley's Hero Channel 5 award in 2003 and was recognized for painting a mural in the Media Center at North Grade Elementary School in Lake Worth. His family will always remember him as a driven, brilliant man who encouraged them to pursue their goals. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at All County's Del Lago Chapel located at 131 S. Lakeside Drive in Lake Worth, FL at 2:00PM.
