James Burleson James Burleson, age 83, passed away Wednesday February 15, 2017 at his residence in Joliet, formerly of Romeoville. Veteran of the Korean War serving US Army 1951 to 1954. James was a founding member of First Baptist Church of Hampton Park for more than 50 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Burleson; children, Michael Burleson, Rannah Natoli and Timothy (Veronica) Burleson; sisters, Mildred Goforth, Jacquline Perrygin and Doris-Jo (Tony) Bowman; grandchildren, Heather (Felix) Soto, Roman (Karen) Natoli, Delena (Mark) Valadez, Rhiannon Burleson, Tiffany (Derek) Katz, Jacob (Rachel) Burleson, Nathan Burleson, Jesse (Austyn) Burleson, Jessica (Angel) Pena and Kayligh Christensen; great grandchildren, Felicia Soto, Kaiden Katz, Khloe Katz and Teagan Burleson; also numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bedford and Jessie Burleson; three brothers and two sisters. Visitation Monday from 3:00 to 9:00 pm at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W. Renwick Rd., Crest Hill, IL 60403.
