In memory of
Phillip G. Morrison
Morrison, Phillip G. passed away on January 5, 2017. Phill passed peaceably under the extraordinary care of his wife Pam & daughter Val and Hospice of the East Valley. He suffered a series of strokes in 2016 that eventually led to his demise. During his rehabilitation, he frequently remarked how he had experienced a "good life". Phill loved his wife Pam (Smith) Morrison, his three children Scott, Val & Ken, his brother Paul, his sister Kate, 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was born in Madison, Wisconsin but spent most of his life in Tempe & Mesa, AZ with family. His long professional career included: the Navy serving on the USS Impervious, an electrical engineer with Motorola, an Entrepreneur and founder of Monorail Carwash Systems, and a personal service business named Accounting By Computer. During this time, he also served for 41 years as an instructor for The Dale Carnegie Course teaching others confidence and speaking skills. He was proud to have served his country, taught and helped others, grew a strong group of many, many friends and found the love of his life, Pam. Phill also enjoyed traveling, cooking and collecting hundreds of cookbooks, and collecting vintage motorcycles. Phill asked that, in lieu of a formal service, you find within yourselves good memories of how he may have positively impacted your life. He knows, and was grateful, for how positively you impacted and enriched his. To live long is only a journey; to have lived and loved is the reward you earn by how much you have touched others. Phill expresses his gratitude to all.
