In memory of
Ramon G. Navarro
Ramon G. Navarro Ramon Guajardo Navarro was born February 21, 1935 in Dallas, Texas. He passed peacefully to his rest on February 13, 2017 in his home in Victorville, California. He was eight days away from his 82nd birthday. He is survived by his wife Rachel Navarro, and children Diana Navarro, Kathryn Urban, Ray Andrew Navarro, Michael Isaac Navarro, Paul Anthony Navarro, Patricia Torres, Elisa Gonzalez, Eva Salazar, Angela Rodriguez. Ramon is also survived by his brothers Robert Navarro and SgtMaj Sal Navarro, USMC (Ret), and sister Helen Santana. Ramon was a loving father and husband, and proud to have served as a Marine. Ramon and Rachel were married for 59 years. He loved to spend time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He loved to laugh, always had something funny to say. He always befriended people (like church visitors and Costco employees in Victorville). Ray served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War and discharged as a Corporal. He also served as the first Treasurer for the High Desert Marines. He was a dedicated member of the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Church, first at the Spanish-American SDA Church in Los Angeles, CA, and currently at the High Desert Bilingual SDA Church in Hesperia, CA. For many years he served as a treasurer and a deacon at both churches. Above all, he loved his Savior Jesus with all his heart; and as he rests in his dusty grave, he is anxiously waiting to rise again at the voice of his Savior and reunite with his family and friends. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, February 19, 4:00 p.m., at the High Desert SDA Bilingual Church, Hesperia, CA. Burial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA, being honored by family, friends and the presence of fellow Marines.
