In memory of
1928 ~ 2017 Keith Vernon Dangerfield was warmly welcomed into the loving arms of his eternal sweetheart, Chloe, on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2017. Keith was born on June 26, 1928, the 5th child of Thomas and Edith Dangerfield. He grew up in Garfield where he, his siblings and friends have many fond childhood memories. He is a proud graduate of the Cyprus High Class of 1947. Keith enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served during the Korean War. He married Chloe Janice Richards for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on May 23, 1951. They enjoyed 62 years together. Keith was employed as a carpenter at Kennecott and then Hercules. He was a highly skilled craftsman with a strong work ethic - which he applied in every aspect of his life. He was a devout member of the LDS Church. His favorite callings were serving as scout leader and home teacher. Keith is survived by his children: Byron (Bertha), Brent (Babette), Brooke (John) Ziakas, Brenda (Michael) Tuttle, Bethany; sister, Janis; 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great -great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his wife, Chloe; son, Brad; grandson, Jonathon; 4 brothers and 1 sister. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 20th at 11:00 a.m. at the Magna South Stake Center (8181 West Breeze Drive, Magna, UT). A viewing will be held at Valley View Memorial Park (4335 West 4100 South, West Valley, UT) on Sunday, February 19th from 6-8 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service at the Magna South Stake Center.
