In memory of
Fred Hinman
Hinman, Fred Fred L. Hinman. 88, was peacefully brought home by the Angels Wednesday, February 15, 2017. He was predeceased by his loving wife Betty, his parents Fred and Nina Hinman and sister Marion Graves. He is survived by his children Penny & Terry Adams, Dawn & John Du Brava and Dale Hinman; grandchildren Lorrie, TJ, Colleen, Gregory, Chelsea, Michael and Chad; several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Fred retired from Consolidated Freightways after over 20 years of service where he received many safe driving awards. After the passing of his wife Betty he enjoyed volunteering daily at Elizabeth Church Manor where he cared for the patients, watered the gardens and most of all he enjoyed decorating for the holidays. He also loved to dance, go to garage sales and flea markets. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His happy smile and his caring ways will be missed by all that new him. The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Maria Bertini for her excellent care and compassion and to Dr. Richard Baron for his kind and caring words of encouragement. Funeral Services will be held at 10am on Monday, February 20, 2017 at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson with Rev. Jenni Piatt officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-4pm. Those wishing kindly consider memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Assn. at www.alz.org or Alzheimer's Association Central New York, 441 West Kirkpatrick Street, Syracuse, NY 13204-1361
