Stuart J. Whittle, 53, of Suffield, CT, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family, on February 14, 2017. Born in Gardner, MA, and raised in Templeton, MA, he was the beloved son of Glenn and Gail (Landry) Whittle. He became a successful Electrical Engineer and served at UTC for 26 years. Aside from his work, Stuart had a great passion for motocross racing and enjoyed the sport both as a spectator and a competitor. He also enjoyed visiting Mohegan Sun to test his mathematical abilities against his favorite games of chance. Stuart was a kindhearted and generous spirit who enjoyed making friends wherever he went. Most of all, he was a devoted husband, father, and brother who loved spending time with his family. He will always be dearly missed by everyone fortunate to have known him.
