Raymondville - Aloisie (Krupala) Zdansky, 86, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother of the Lyford - Raymondville community, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2017. Aloisie, born in Sealy, Texas, on November 13, 1930, was the third child of John P. and Matilda Krupala. She grew up in Sealy before moving to Rio Hondo Texas. Aloisie was a graduate of Harlingen High School class of 1947, and in her early years worked for an eye doctor in Harlingen, Texas. Aloisie spent the balance of her life as a proud and successful farmer's wife and mother in the Lyford and Raymondville area. She worked on the farm, and delighted in her role as homemaker, cooking meals, baking Kolaches for family, friends and neighbors. She also enjoyed listening to polka music, going to dances, and leading wedding marches with her husband John. In November 1951, Aloisie married John Thomas Zdansky (deceased) of Corpus Christi, Texas. John and Aloisie were married for 61 years. Aloisie is survived by six children; Eileen Corley (Davis) of Midland, John Zdansky Jr. (Ann) of Magnolia, Diane Busse (Dale) of Lyford, Nancy Douglas (Keith) of Austin, Tracy Zamora (Albert) of Alice, and Sharon Easter (Dean) of Sealy. John and Aloisie were the proud grandparents of 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Aloisie is survived by one brother Charles P. Krupala of Lyford, Texas, and is preceded in death by her brother Louis Krupala and her parents John P. and Matilda Krupala. Aloisie was a faithful member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Raymondville, Texas for more than 45 years and a member of the Alar Society. She was also a member of many organizations including SPJST (President), KJZT and RVOS (President of local lodge). In addition to her various capacities helping on the farm, Aloisie was an artist and enjoyed painting with a group of ladies weekly and doing numerous arts and crafts projects. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. and resume Friday, February 17, 2017 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with family accepting friends from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. A holy rosary will be recited Friday at 7:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 1157 W. Hidalgo Ave., Raymondville, Texas 78580. A celebration of Aloisie's life will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 464 S. 1st St., Raymondville, Texas 78580. Aloisie will be buried in the Mont Meta Memorial Park Cemetery located on State Hwy 345 in San Benito, Texas, following the service. The family extends gratitude to the caregivers Tommie, Debra, Edna, Rose, Jessica, Terri, and Retama Manor Nursing Center staff for their constant care and support in her later years.
