In memory of
Lee E. Homer Jr.
Homer, Lee E. Jr. 1/7/1971 - 2/11/2017 Muskegon Lee E. Homer Jr., age 46, passed away unexpectedly Saturday February 11th, 2017. He was preceded in death by his (infant) twin brother John, and left behind his wife Christina (Gardenour) Homer and son Johnathon Homer. Lee loved to fish and grew up camping at the Diamond Lake Campground properties, which were donated by his grandpa Yoder. Lee was in the process of preserving his grandpa's legacy by keeping the Chapel of the Three Crosses campground alive. Lee had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone in need, never looking for anything in return. Lee was also survived by his parents Lee and Sally Homer, in-laws Gary and Kathleen Gardenour, sisters Laurie (John) Ginn, Kelly (Robert) Hansen and sister in-law Dawn (David) Cook. He had five nephews, and five nieces including one great nephew and two great nieces. Lee felt the outdoors was his church, and God was everywhere. He was continuing to learn from his religious mentor Kirk Swanson and best friend Robert Lee. He will be greatly missed by all. There will be a celebration of life gathering on Friday February 17th, 2017 from 3 to 6pm at the Don Rea V.F.W post #8846, 1061 Witham Rd. North Muskegon Mi. Send Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers to the Chapel of the Three Crosses 3721 Hyde Park Rd. Muskegon, Mi 49445 to help keep Lee's dream alive.
