Carolyn K. MacQueen, 81, formerly of Whitehall, PA passed away Friday, February 10, 2107 in the Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall Township. She was the wife of the late H. Richard MacQueen. Carolyn was born in Newburgh, NY a daughter of the late Carroll F. and Hester D. (Livingston) Kearney. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Syracuse University and her Master's Degree from Cortland University. Carolyn was a teacher at the Thomas Edison Elementary School, Johnson City, NY. She served as President of the Del Roble Elementary School PTA, San Jose, CA. Carolyn was a Board Member of Meals on Wheels, Poughkeepsie, NY and was a member of the American Association of University Women. She was involved with Cub Scouts with her sons. Carolyn was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Allentown. Survivors: Sons, Richard C. and his wife Kris S. MacQueen of Phillipsburg, NJ and Douglas M. and his wife Heather L. MacQueen of Glen Aubrey, NY; grandchildren, Katherine, Karl, Daniel and Nicholas; cousin, Priscilla Leith of Newton, MA and friend Sam Cocco. She was predeceased by her brother Frederick Kearney.
