Funeral Mass for Phil Serraglio, 96, of Willoughby, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Fr. Timothy Kalista will officiate the Mass. Mr. Serraglio passed away Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017, at his daughter's residence in Lewis Center. Born March 12, 1920, in Cleveland, he had lived in Highland Heights before moving to Lake County 32 years ago, living in Willoughby. Phil was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and a member of the Willoughby Senior Center and Immaculate Conception Church in Willoughby for 32 years. Mr. Serraglio was a former employee of Lincoln Electric, where he had worked as a foreman and member of the Quarter Century Club. He was the loving father of Marlene (Carlos) Sucharetza and Diane (Ray) Giesse; cherished grandfather of Phil (Denise) Waller, Kimberly (Rob) Janos, Jeffrey (Martha) Giesse and Nicole (Mark) Baxter; great-grandfather of Jordan, Brooke,Christopher Kelsey, Lilliana, Emerson and Owen; brother of Santa Trassare, Sam Serraglio and Mary Warm; brother-in-law of Lucy Serraglio and Jean Petti; and uncle of nieces and nephews. Phil was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy (nee Attina) Serraglio; parents, Constantino and Sabastiana (nee Artino) Serraglio; siblings, Grace Rizzo, Lena Ricco, Joseph Serraglio and Nick Serraglio; sisters-in-law, Vera Serraglio and Alverta Serraglio; and brothers-in-law, Tony Trassare, Carl Warm, Jim Rizzo and Frank Ricco. Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sun at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Entombment will be held in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
