William J. Orpik
William J Orpik, age 70 of Plymouth passed away on February 12th, 2017 at the Pat Roche Hospice House in Hingham, MA following a long illness. He was born in Concord MA to Julius Orpik and Doris Harms Orpik. He graduated in 1964 from Concord-Carlisle High School after which he enlisted in the United States Navy. He served in the Vietnam War and proudly achieved the status Chief Petty Officer. He was employed for many years by the Concord Municipal Light Department. Prior to that he was a police officer in Lincoln Ma and operated Orpik Trucking Co. for many years. He was most recently employed by the National cemetery in Bourne MA. He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Veronica (Riki) Orpik and his two children; Jessica Glowaki of Seal Beach California, her husband Bradley Glowaki DC and their four children Georgia, Luke, Saylor and Heath and Nicholas Orpik of Concord MA, his wife Erin (Streeter) Orpik and their two children Reilly and Connor. He is also survived by his sister Penny Todd of New Hampshire, his Uncle Stanley Orpik of Concord MA and many nieces and nephews. He was greatly loved and will be immeasurably missed. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, February 18th, 2017 at Dee Funeral Home located at 27 Bedford Street Concord MA from 9am to 1pm. Concords town flag will fly at half-staff on Saturday, February 18th in recognition of Mr. Orpiks service to his country in the U. S. Navy.
