Jean A. Taylor
Jean A. Taylor 63, of Navarre, passed away Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Canton Feb. 9, 1954 to James C. Jr. and Dora (Fuller) Neely and was a 1972 graduate of Fairless High School. She was a 50 year member of the Ohio Wagon Train and had been a demonstrator at Yankee Peddler for 40 years. She was a volunteer for the Fairless Food Cupboard and was a member of the Dragon Boat Dream Team, Pow Wow Dancer and Reiki Healer ART. She will be remembered as an old time cowgirl and clogger. She is survived by her husband, David L. Taylor; a daughter, Heather Taylor; a brother, James C. Neely III; sister, Paula Pearce; and nine nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Cynthia Stephan. A service to celebrate her life will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Spidell Funeral Home, 209 Chestnut Street, NW, Brewster. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. prior to services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dragon Boat Dream Team, 2405 Bevington Street, NW, Canton, OH 44709 or to an account at the Brewster Federal Credit Union P.O.Box 115 , Brewster, Ohio 44613 in her name.
