WALLACE "GALE" KARR
Wallace G. Karr Gale Karr was born November 19, 1932 in Carthage, MO, and, following a full life that was marked by a deep devotion to his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ accepted his promotion to his Heavenly Home on February 3, 2017. He had an endless love for his wife and children, who brought him much joy. He always cherished and appreciated his friends and all those he encountered during his life. He leaves to mourn his departure his loving wife Betty of nearly 58 years, daughter Annette, son Douglas, family, and friends. He was a beloved husband, honored father, and trusted friend. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Arneta Karr, brother James W. Karr, and his twin brother, Paul Dale Karr (Ruth), and niece Kari Karr. He attended school in a one-room schoolhouse in Maple Grove, MO, then graduated from Clover Park High School, Tacoma, WA, in 1950. He attended Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, IL, and served four years in the US Air Force. He retired from the Boeing Company after 29 years. Memorial service will be held Saturday, February 18th, 1pm, at South Side Baptist Church, 626 South 86th St., Tacoma. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gale's memory to South Side Baptist Church.
