In memory of
Jonathan Denzil Holt
Jonathan Denzil Holt Jonathan Denzil Holt, born March 28, 1995 to Craig and Betty Holt of Tumwater, WA, tragically took his life Monday, February 6, 2017 in Olympia. In addition to his parents, he is survived by an older sister, Rach'l Scott (Holt); younger brother, Eli Holt; nephew, Patrick Scott; niece, Autumn Scott; grandparents, John Meek, Joann Harper, and Denzil and Alice Holt; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him very much. Jon was born in Olympia and attended Garfield Elementary, Jefferson Middle School and Capital High School. He loved his family and friends so deeply and was quick with a hug or "I love you." He had the biggest heart so filled with love. He was incredibly funny with a quick wit and a twinkle in his eye. He lived large and loved cars, motorcycles, laughing with friends, and was always there to lend a hand to a buddy. He had so much fun in his teens getting into mischief with friendsoh the things they did! He had become such a handsome man with an awesome beard he was so proud of. He loved being stylish and came a long way from Carharts and tshirts. He was "that guy" with a great laugh and was so, so cute. Jon loved to be with his family whether it was hanging out at home, meeting one of them for lunch and a drink, or taking a great vacation together. He was head over heels in love with his nephew and niece. He loved his coworkers and they loved him at Keys on Main (Tacoma) and Pints & Quarts (West Olympia). Jonathan battled depression for years and had received counseling, but it was far too little to fight the heaviness of his depression. Most of his friends had no idea how sad he truly was and he was a master at hiding it with laughter. Donations in his name may be made to the Jonathan Holt Memorial Fund at any Key Bank. Donations will be used towards mental health and suicide prevention. Services will be Monday, February 13, 2017, 3:00 p.m., SPSCC Building 21, 2011 Mottman Rd. SW, Olympia, WA 98512, followed by a reception at 5:00 p.m. at Pints and Quarts Restaurant in Capital Mall. Please share memories at www.FuneralAlternatives.org
