Nicholas W. Malta
Nicholas W. Malta passed away January 11,2017 at home with his family surrounding him. Nicky fought an incredible fight with many cancers in the last 5 years. In the end, his body just gave out. He was the son of John and Veronica Malta (deceased) and leaves behind his wife Felice Cece Malta, his children Kimberle Malta-Roman, Nick Malta, and Michael Stickney. his 3 grandchildren, Robert Roman, Jr., Nico Malta and Aisha Malta. He attended Ferris High School in Jersey City and was a basketball star who broke records by scoring 1400 points before there was a 3 point line. He was all county and All State. After receiving many scholarships he went to play basketball at the University of North Carolina. Nick owned 2 successful bars and restaurants in Jersey City and later became a Regional Sales Manager for a food manufacturer where he won many Salesmen of the year awards. Always gregarious and funny, people were drawn to him as he always was the life of the party. He will be greatly missed. Nicholas is being cremated so there will be no viewing, instead there will be a memorial/celebration of Life service. Memorial Service for Nicolas W.
