In memory of
Juana Pulido Leyva was born on 5/2/1924 and raised in the beautiful town of Churintzio in the state of Michoacan, Mexico. She grew up and was surrounded by a large loving family of 4 brothers and 4 sisters. She attended schools in Churintzio where she completed primary school education. She met the dashing Manuel Arroyo from the nearby town of Jalapa, Michoacan. They were married on 9/7/1956 in Mexico. A year later she joined him in the US in the small town of Livingston CA to begin a family. There she raised three daughters, along with her husband, while working seasonally at Tri Valley Growers in Modesto California for over 20 years. Juana and her husband were fortunate to see their daughters marry and to have families of their own resulting in 8 grandchildren. She lived long enough to see the birth of 2 great grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Olga Garcia, Lydia Ramirez and Arcelia Arroyo. She is preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Arroyo on 10/10/2001. At the time of her passing Juana was the last living member of the Pulido Leyva family. She was deeply loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed by all.
