Meera Tate Yoder
Meera Tate Yoder 2008-2017 8 year old daughter of Owen and Mae (Miller) Yoder of Baltic died Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Akron Children's Medical Center following a three month battle with Stage 4 Burkitts Lymphoma and post chemo symptoms. She was born October 29, 2008 in Millersburg. Meera was in the second grade at Ragersville Elementary School. She was loved by so many, leaving behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her Ragersville Elementary Family. Meera lived her life to the fullest, Loved Jesus. Meera was very fun, loving, energetic and sassy. She loved family vacations at the beach, spending time with family, friends, and many loved ones. She had a love for music, dance, and cheerleading. She will be deeply missed by her parents, Owen and Mae Yoder; her brother, Andre Jace Yoder of the home; her grandparents, Mahlon and Mary Miller of Trail; and Noah and Anna Yoder of Sugarcreek; and her special friend, Kylie Miller. The family's favorite Bible Verse: Jeremiah 29:11. She is preceded in death by her cousin, Joshua David Troyer. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at New Pointe Community Church, 3950 SR 39 NW, Dover, OH. Committal Services and burials will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday at Union Hill Cemetery in Sugarcreek with Pastor Dwight Mason officiating. Friends may call on Saturday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Sunday 2-5 p.m. all at New Pointe Community Church. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek.
