Caroline K. Kocian
Caroline K. Kocian, 97, of Greensburg, died Thursday, January 12, 2017, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born Feb. 19, 1919, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Innocent A. and Anna A. (Vojtek) Kocian. She was a dental assistant for Dr. Hetner and later was employed by Mellon Bank, both of Greensburg. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and John Kocian; and three sisters, Sister M. Dorothy, OSB, Anne Perrotta and husband, Ralph, and Helen Murphy and husband, James. She is survived by her brother, Edward Kocian and wife, Mary Lou, of Greensburg; her sister-in-law, Ann Kocian, of Crabtree; and several nieces and nephews and grand-nephews. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton St., Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 9 a.m. Monday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg.
