In memory of
Kelly Vaughan Mar. 17, 1968 - Jan. 07, 2017 Pixley Kelly Vaughan passed away at age 48 on January 7, 2017 at Fresno CMRC after having been recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. However, the condition had progressed beyond what anyone could imagine. Kelly was born James K. Vaughan in Little Rock, Arkansas on March 17, 1968 to Ken and Georgia. As a St. Patrick's Day baby, and being half Irish, his grandmother believed his name should be Kelly. Even though his mother named him James, Kelly became his nickname and stuck with him for the rest of his life. At the age of five, he and his family moved to Tulare, CA. Here he attended local schools, then spent three years in the Army National Guard. In 1992, already a father of three, he married Stephanie and an additional two children followed. Kelly spent the remainder of his years living in the area making memories and enjoying life with his family and friends. He was a husband, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend. Kelly will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Kelly is preceded in death by his mother Georgia K. Pollard. He is survived by his father, Ken; his wife, Stephanie; his children and their spouses, Kelly Jr., Christopher, Deana & Kyle, Kenneth & Katelyn, and Mitchell & Chastity; his brothers and sisters in law George & Debbie, Sid & Paula, and David; his nieces Maddysen and Kaylynn; mother and father in law Janette & Dow Sellars; and grandchildren Tyler, Dalton, Jordan, Kenneth, Grace, Jonah, and Violet. Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at the Tulare Public Cemetery, located at 900 E. Kern St., Tulare, CA. Services will be held outside so please consider possible weather conditions. Flowers can be sent to Peers Lorentzen Funeral Service at 132 W.
