In memory of
Jim Roberts passed away peacefully on Friday (December 30, 2016) at age 83 years. He was born September 30, 1933 in Arkansas City to the late Patrick Thomas and Lola Faye Roberts. Jim was married to Nancy Shuler on December 26, 1959, and celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary days before his passing. Jim worked in sales in the Printing and Advertising industry in Wichita and Tulsa. He lived in Tulsa for more than 27 years and retired in Rogers to enjoy his favorite hobbies; golfing and fishing. Jim proudly served in the U.S. Army and graduated from Wichita State University. Along with his wife, Nancy Shuler Roberts, at home in Rogers, he is survived by four adoring children: Steve Roberts of Euless, Texas, Andrea (Stan) Tripp of Sugar Land, Texas, Lisa Palmer of Austin, Texas, and Kerri (Jeff) Shelley of Shawnee. Five grandchildren: Michael and Chris Moragne, Ben and Noah Hall and Brenham Palmer. Three siblings: Michael, Tony and Cynthia Roberts. Jim was predeceased by a brother, Patrick Roberts and a granddaughter, Kelsey Roberts. Funeral mass was celebrated January 5, 2017 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Rogers, Arkansas.
