Harley T. Winship
Harley T. Winship AGE: 86 • South Toms River Harley T. Winship, 86, of South Toms River, died January 9. A resident of Toms River most of his life, he was owner and operator of a local printing business, served in the N. J. National Guard, and was active in the N. J. Forest Fire Service for many years. He famously restored the decayed sawmill in Double Trouble State Park to working condition. All his adult life Harley was a restoration carpenter, and his work is in many fine homes in Ocean County. Harley was predeceased by son, David Thomas Winship in 2015. He is survived by his loving wife of over 60 years, Barbara, sons Karl (Carol) and Jeffrey (Kim), daughter-in-law Sue, three grandchildren, David (Nina), Christopher, and Melissa, one great grandchild, Thomas, and sisters Cathy Schenone and Joan Millard.
