In memory of
Loving Mother, Grandmother and Friend, Marion Bruessel passed away on the first of September, 2016, in her sleep in Oregon after a short illness. She was 83. Marion spent her childhood in Santa Monica, CA where she grew up and attended both Beverly Hills and University High Schools. From the early 1950s through 2007 she resided in Canyon Country, CA, where she raised her children and spoiled her grandchildren. In the early years she participated in various community groups and wrote a column for the local paper. Marion moved to Nevada later in life, where she met the love of her life, Jack, and enjoyed his company, as well as that of her local community groups. After Jack passed away she moved to Oregon to be with her youngest son, Brad. The things Marion cherished most in life were her family, lifelong friends, and her animals. She loved the beach and mountains and asked that her ashes be scattered off the coast of Santa Monica. She is survived by her three sons Bill, Bruce and Brad; her grandchildren Dennis, Terra, Angie and Lynn; her numerous great-grandchildren. "Grams" dedicated all of her time to her family and made sure to be present in every way possible as often as possible…and now, she watches over us. A Celebration of Marion's Life will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at 27973 Lost Springs Road, Canyon Country, CA 91387.
