Joseph S. Litewka
1941-2017 Joseph S. Litewka, 75, a longtime resident of East Norriton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at Parkhouse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Royersford. Mr. Litewka was the son of the late Stefan Litewka and the late Rose Bozewicz Litewka, the former husband of Madeline M. Litewka, the father of Christine R. Litewka and the grandfather of Madeline Jo Sepulveda. Joseph was born and raised in West Conshohocken and was a graduate of St. Matthew’s High School, Class of 1959. As a young man, he was a drummer in a band called “Polka Express” and also played with “The Bel Airs”. He went on to become an appliance parts salesman, working for All Appliances and later for Marcone Appliances in Willow Grove. During the fall, he enjoyed going out deer hunting with his buddies. Joseph was also a member of St. Titus Church, where he served as an usher. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday, January 14, from 9 a.m. until 9:50 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson Street, Swedesburg, Pa., 19405, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Benedict Cemetery.
