CHILDERS, Will H. 83, of Riverside, passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017. He was born in Dwarf, Kentucky to the late Cecil & Sallie (Godsey) Childers. Will was a retired machinist who worked for Price Brothers. He was a member of Fairborn Tabernacle and served our country in the U.S. Army. Preceded in death by his wife, Jean Elizabeth Childers; granddaughter, Kacee Childers; grandson, D-Jay Childers; sister, Stella Childers. Survived by 3 daughters, Audrey Leonard (Dan), Peggy Sherman (David) & Christeen Max (Doug); 3 sons, Eddie Childers (Jackie), Donnie Childers (Marcy) & Joe Childers (Angie); 11 grandchildren & numerous great grandchildren; sister, Pearlie Grigsby; brother, Earl Childers; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017 at the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, "Northridge Chapel," 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road. Pastor Nate Moore, officiating. Interment Royal Oak Cemetery, Brookville, OH. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the George C. Martin Funeral Home. If desired, memorials may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
