Tony A. Stoops October 18, 1964 - January 8, 2017 Littlestown Tony A. Stoops, 52, took the hand of Jesus in the early hours of the morning on Sunday, January 8, 2017. Tony is the son of Susan A. Frock of Littlestown and the late Roger Stoops. Tony was born in Gettysburg on October 18, 1964. Tony was a 1983 graduate of Littlestown High School where he was active with the Littlestown Thunderbolt football team. He also participated in wrestling in school. Tony was a former member of the Littlestown Jaycees. Tony loved sports and was a fan of the Penn State Nittany Lions, Dallas Cowboys and the Baltimore Orioles. He was also an avid Elvis Presley fan. He enjoyed many hours of listening to Elvis' music, collecting Elvis memorabilia and visiting Graceland with his brother for his 40th birthday. He enjoyed family time and capturing every special moment on film, friends and going to church. Tony is survived by his mother; brother, Michael Stoops and wife, Kathy of Littlestown; brother, Donald Frock and wife, Jodi of Hanover; a niece, Elizabeth Stoops and fiancé, Christopher Topper of Hanover; a nephew, Michael Stoops Jr. of Littlestown; a niece, Melony Frock of Dallastown; a niece, Kyra Frock of Dallastown; and a niece, Ella Frock of Hanover. He is also survived by a great-niece, Madison; a great-nephew, Zachary; paternal grandmother, Irene (Stoops) Baughman of Waynesboro; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Tony was preceded by maternal grandparents, Calvin and Anna (Parr) Mundorff of Littlestown; paternal grandfather, Samuel Baughman of Waynesboro; and stepfathers, Donald H. Frock and Gabriel "Junior" Roman, both of Hanover. Tony will be remembered for his wonderful smile, his big heart and his love for everyone. He made everyone who met him smile and feel good. A funeral service to celebrate and remember Tony's life will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover. Burial will be in Christ United Church of Christ Cemetery, Littlestown. Viewings will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the funeral home. All are encouraged to wear your Penn State, Dallas Cowboys, or Baltimore Orioles clothing.
