Sherrie Ann Eslinger August 23, 1950 - January 6, 2017 Nothing can ever take away the love a heart holds dear. Fond memories linger every day. Remembrance keeps them near. Sherrie Ann Eslinger passed away peacefully at the age of 66 in Pocatello, Idaho. She was born on August 23, 1950 in Pocatello to Edwin and Catherine (Busco) Eslinger. She was raised and lived most of her life in Pocatello. She graduated from Pocatello High School. She attended Idaho State University and graduated with a degree in Home Ec Education. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, reading, skiing and all other sports and outdoor life, especially swimming and excelled on the swim team. She taught teen living for the school district. She taught in Deitrich Shoshone as well as Pocatello. She married Kenneth Ray Fingerlos. Together they had three beautiful children. Sherrie and Kenneth were later divorced. She loved being with her children and grandchildren. Sherrie was preceded in death by both of her parents. She is survived by a son, Kenneth Andy (April) Fingerlos of Denver, Colorado, two daughter, Rayna Jean Anderson of Pocatello and Emily Ann (Logan) Muller of Pocatello; as well as grandchildren Caigreann Andy Muller, Kathryn Merridythe Anderson and Alekzander Kenneith Anderson. She is also survived by two brothers, Lee (Tracy) Eslinger of Portland, and Stan (Sandy) Eslinger serving as missionaries in Africa, two sisters, Valerie (John) Hill of Wisconsin and Sheila (Chris) DeGreef of Chicago. Honoring her wishes, Sherrie will be cremated under the care of Downard Funeral Home, 241 North Garfield Ave, Pocatello. Memorial services will be announced in the future.
