In memory of
Beulah Iota Weaver Warren
Beulah Iota Weaver Warren Oct. 7, 1923 Jan. 1, 2017 Bea Warren was born and raised in Fallon, Nevada. One of five children, she was the first daughter of Ferla Franklin Weaver and Mary Ethel Weaver Nee Frederick. Bea enjoyed farm life until graduating from Fallon High School in 1941. Growing up during the depression, money was scarce. She always told of having only two pairs of shoes, one for every day and one for church and special occasions, a situation she more than remedied as an adult. In 1941, Bea married William Wesley Warren III of Sparks and had one child, Mark. They eventually moved to Washoe Valley, where Bill worked for the Nevada Division of Forestry until he passed in 1963. In 1967, Bea married Robert Sinnett. She worked at various jobs during her life, until her retirement at 72 from the State Bar of Nevada Lawyer Referral Service. She could type 70 words a minute, as well as take shorthand, a lost art, which she could demonstrate at will. Bea was a wonderful cook - her homemade Christmas cookies were a great hit every year. She would box up 15 different varieties and distribute them to friends and relatives. She made friends wherever life took her, visiting those that were sick or otherwise in need of love. She loved flowers and spent endless hours planting and tending her garden. She was in the Rose Chapter of Eastern Star and rose to Grand Matron. Recently a resident of 5-Star Premier (2 years), she went to meet her maker following a brief battle with pneumonia. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Bill Warren and Robert Sinnett, her brothers, Ferla Frederick Weaver, Carey Cossuth Weaver, and Daniel Dorwin Weaver and sister, Una Mardelle Hertel. She is survived by her son, Mark Warren (Marsha), her daughter, Nancy Sinnett Hall (Frank), granddaughter, Michelle Sinnett, and great-granddaughter, Summer Sinnett, as well as nephews and nieces: Ron Weaver (Chris), Dick Weaver (Honna), Elsie Newman (Larry), Cindi Nesler (Bob), and Dana Weaver. Services will be held at Walton's Funeral Home at 875 W. 2nd St, Reno on January 13, 2017. Viewing will be at 11am with the service at noon.
