BLADES - Russell H. Passwaters passed away on Friday, Dec. 16, 2016. Russell was a graduate of Seaford High School, class of 1958. Upon graduation he served six years in the National Guard. Russell later worded for Kraft Foods in Dover, retiring after 37 years. Russell was an avid Nascar and stock car racing fan, who enjoyed going to car shows. He loved family gatherings and Evelyn's dumplings, and you could always find him entertaining the nieces and nephews. Russell was the son of the late William Henry and Sallie Marker Passwaters. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Helen Figgs and Corrine Lambden; and a brother, John Passwaters. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jacqueline Passwaters; and two godsons, Everett Harold and Kevin Harold; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Friday, Dec. 23, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St, Seaford, where friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
