COHOCTON - Mary C. Deusenbery, 90, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday (Oct. 16, 2016) at Conesus Lake Nursing Home. Mary was born Feb. 13, 1926 in Cohocton, N.Y., to Owen and Dorothy (Peck) Cragg. She was a graduate of NCA high school and Rochester Business School. Mary worked closely with her husband owning and successfully operating Deusenbery Farms Inc. She was an active member of the Atlanta Presbyterian Church, Cohocton Historical Society, Cohocton Grange, ANC Republican Club and was formerly a Cohocton Town Assessor. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas M. Deusenbery; daughter, Judy Deusenbery and son, Jerry T Deusenbery. She is survived by her children, Carol Robinson, Rita (Gene) Schafer, Geraldine Deusenbery (Bill Hoffman), Anthony (Holly) Deusenbery, Jacqueline (Dave) Thompson and Cindy (Jerry) Wilkinson; daughter in-law, Cheryl Deusenbery; 23 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; brothers, Alan Cragg (Janet) & Brian Cragg; sisters in-law, Margo Deusenbery and Nancy Cragg; many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 21, at Walter E. Baird & Sons Funeral Home, 300 West Naples St., Wayland, N.Y., 14572. A celebration of her life will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Atlanta Presbyterian Church, 2 West Main St., Atlanta, N.Y., 14808. Memorials contributions may be made to the Atlanta Presbyterian Church, the Cohocton Historical Society or the Alzheimer Research in memory of Mary Deusenbery. A complete obituary is online at
