John T. Kozusko
John T. Kozusko, 78, of Butler passed away on Tuesday peacefully at home. Born Jan. 20, 1938, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late John and Ila Edith Zimmerman Kozusko. John proudly served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves for eight years. He worked for the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 12 for 43 years. In his free time, he enjoyed building, creating projects, and watching football and baseball. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandsons. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Karen L. O'Donnell Kozusko, who he married Sept. 5, 1959; his daughters, Kim Papania (Dave Odoski), Gigi Kozusko and Dianne (Vince) Wisniewski; his grandchildren, Justin (Anna) Papania, Jon Papania, Luke Wisniewski and Matthew (Alexis) Odoski; his great-grandchildren, Haley, Kylie, Tyler and Evelyn Papania and Matthew Odoski; his brother, James (Dorothy) Kozusko; his sisters, Mary Jane Pernice and Helen Chervenak; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his son, Tommy Kozusko; and his sister, Verla Crouch. KOZUSKO - Friends of John T. Kozusko, who died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Boylan Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Fidelis Parish, 125 Buttercup Road, Butler, with the Rev. James Murphy as celebrant. He will be laid to rest at the North Side Cemetery in Butler. Memorial donations may be made in John's honor to VNA of Western PA, 154 Hindman Road, Butler, PA 16001.
