In memory of
Mr. Carl Costanza, Carl, 88, died on Sunday, October 16, 2016. Mr. Costanza was born in Newark and has been a life-long resident of Lyndhurst. He was a World War II Veteran (1946-1947). He worked as a fork lift operator for Maxwell Coffeehouse in Hoboken for 42 years when he retired in 1990. Mr. Costanza is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Marion (nee Winberry); by his loving children, Elizabeth Costanza, Carolyn Spanola and Dr. Carl Costanza and his wife, Santina; and by his dear grandchildren, Philip and Frank Spanola, Carl, Emily, and Grace Costanza. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. then to St. Philip the Apostle Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton, where at 10 a.m., a funeral mass will be offered. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visiting hours are Friday, Oct. 21 from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mr. Costanza's memory to Bergen County Animal Shelter, 100 United Lane, Teterboro, NJ 07608.
