Ditesheim, Gerard E. Gerard Edgard Ditesheim born in La Chaux De Fonds, Switzerland, passed away in his 90th year. Distinguished watch entrepreneur and known for bringing the Movado Museum Watch to the market. Importer and sales manager for Movado, Breguet, Gerald Genta and Audemars Piguet. Son of the late Suzanne and Roger Ditesheim and predeceased by his sister Nicole Alexander. He was a loyal, elegant and loving husband, son, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Lorraine Binnie, married for 60 years, and his children Roni Pordy (Steven), Dr. Jeffrey Ditesheim (Dana) and Cathy Krieger. He is also survived by seven loving grandchildren, Jill Pordy, Samantha, Carly and Alexandra Krieger and Abigail, Samuel, Anna Ditesheim. International connoisseur, mountain climber and golfer. Member of the 24 Karat Club, and Rockrimmon Golf Club. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday October 20, 2016 at Temple Beth El, 350 Roxbury Road, Stamford at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Beth El Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at home on Thursday 7-9 p.m., and on Sunday 12-5 p.m. Donations can be made in Gerard's name to the Bennett Cancer Center, Stamford Hospital. Arrangements under the direction of Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home.
