In memory of
Kennedy Tennant
Kennedy Raye Tennant Perry Twelve years of spunk and vitality describe the life Kennedy (Tootsie) Raye Tennant, whose life ended abruptly on October 14, 2016 at the age of 12, as the result of a car accident.  She is survived by her loving parents Kris and Kenny Tennant, adoring siblings Parker, Savannah and Nolan Tennant, Grandparents Mike & Pat Langham and Harold & Ida Tennant, Aunt's Tonya Olrich, Chris Tennant, Uncles Kevin Langham and Brian & Rusty Tennant, cousins Hunter Olrich, Courtland and Mackenzie Langham, Hannah, Emily and Andrew Tennant.  Special friends including the Jones Family and so many INCREDIBLE friends!  She was proceeded in death by her Grandma Stella Tennant who we are sure is doing a happy dance to be spending time with her granddaughter in Heaven! Our little Diva was born September 9, 2004.  Kennedy brought a "Raye of sunshine" wherever she was.  She personified charisma, sass, style, kindness, focus, smiles but most of all love and shared it freely wherever she went, hugs came easy for her!  From an early age, she was a fashionista.  She had a wonderful smile and infectious giggle.  She loved her family time especially family dinners, movie nights and snuggle time, time with her girlfriends and sleep overs, dress up, craft projects with her aunt, time at the fair, basketball and softball, baking with Mom, Grandma and girlfriends, time with her Papa Tennant and 4H club with her rabbits.  She was a leader and a planner and a compassionate empathetic soul.  We will miss her with a depth we haven't fully realized.  With Kennedy's generosity of spirit, we have donated her beautiful eyes and tissues to the Gift of Life to help others. Visitation of family and remembrance will occur with a community potluck on Thursday, October 20th from 4-7 in the Webberville High School cafeteria.  Kennedy's celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 21st at 11:00am in the Webberville Spartan Center with burial to follow at Summit Cemetery in Williamston, Michigan.  We respectfully request in the spirit of Tootsie that if attending the service you wear bling and turquoise color as we celebrate our special Angel.  In lieu of flowers and as a legacy to her and her spirit of life we have established the Kennedy Raye Tennant scholarship fund at Webberville Schools.  Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at .  Arrangements by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel.
