James R. Jaggers
Jaggers, James R., 85, was born April 21, 1931 in Cub Run, KY to the late Riley Jaggers and Bessie Day and passed from this life on October 15, 2016 in Dacula, GA. Mr. Jaggers was a retired employee of Brown & Williamson, a longtime member of Walnut Street Baptist Church, and an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Dye Jaggers. Left to cherish his memory is a daughter Teresa Bates; and grandsons, Matt Bates and his wife Holly and Brandon Bates. Funeral services for Mr. Jaggers will be held at 10 am Saturday, October 22nd in the sanctuary at Walnut Street Baptist Church, 1101 So. 3rd St. with burial to follow in the Hammondsville Cemetery in Magnolia, KY. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Friday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Memorial gifts may be made to his church at, www.walnutstreet.org .
