Paul Greg Rubio LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 10:00 AM in Martin & Castille's La Fleur de Lis Chapel in Lafayette for Paul Greg Rubio, age 24, who died on Sunday, October 16, 2016 in Lafayette. Entombment will be in St. Anne Mausoleum in Youngsville. Doctor Wanda Rousse, Pastor of Faith Cathedral in New Iberia will conduct the funeral services. Karen Broussard, organist, will sing for the services, "Until We Meet Again", "Go Rest High On That Mountain", "The Lord's Prayer" and "The Rose". Survivors include his mother, Lisa Koppie and her husband Anthony; his father, Michael Pagán; his fiancée, Angela Alleman and her children, whom he loved and adored, Brooksie Alleman, Peyton Alleman and Bragen Richard; two sisters, Alexis Pagán Hernandez and her husband Felix Hernandez and Vanessa Pagán; one brother, Michael Rubio; maternal grandmother, Florinda Benavides and paternal grandfather, Marcelino Gregorio Tovar; step grandfather, Clifton Koppie and Elizabeth Koppie and step brother, Dylan Koppie. He also is survived by his second family, whom he adored and loved as much as family, Roxanne Broussard and her husband, Jules, Bryan Broussard and Katie Broussard. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Oscar Rubio; his paternal grandmother, Juana M. Pagán Lopez, one brother, Ricky Stone and step grandmother, Karen Courville. Paul was born on March 30, 1992 in Gretna, Louisiana and was a resident of Youngsville, Louisiana. He was an avid football fan and loved UL and LSU games. Paul loved to dance and socialize with family and friends. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting. Pallbearers will be Monroe Horton, Heath Vallot, Chad Landrum, Samuel Salas, Ricardo Tovar and Bryan Broussard. Honorary pallbearer will be Michael Rubio. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's SOUTHSIDE location on Thursday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, from 8:00 AM until time of service.
