Jean Kathlyn Dennis Hebron-Jean Kathlyn Dennis, 94, of Hebron passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Golden Gardens Assisted Living after a long-time battle with Alzheimer's. Born in Ocean City she was the daughter of the late Lavater and Tina Hall. She worked at the Hebron Pants Factory and later retired from the Nation Rural Letter Carriers Association. She was a member of the American Legion Post 237 Ladies Auxiliary, Hebron Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, NARFE, and a PRMC PLUS Volunteer. She was a member of Nelsons United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who devoted her life to her family. In later years she loved to crochet, read, and crossword and word puzzles. She is survived by three children, Oland Hall Mills and his wife Mary Anne, Rebecca Weiss, and P. Dale Twilley; eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, eleven great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Oland G. Mills in 1945 while serving in the United States Army during WWII and second husband, David Dennis in 1997; children, James H. Mills and stillborn Laurie Jean Dennis; brother, James Hall; and two sisters, Irma Bishop and Agnes Hall. A special thanks to her special caregiver, Mary Lewis, Golden Gardens Assisted Living, and caregivers at Coastal Hospice. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday at 2:30 at Nelsons United Methodist Church in Hebron where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Rev. Jim Riley will officiate.
