Victoria Rosato LAWRENCEVILLE Victoria Rosato, 82, a longtime resident of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in LeRoy, NY, Vicki received her bachelor of science degree in home economics from Mercyhurst College and her masters in education from the University of Rochester. Victoria taught home economics at the Lawrence Intermediate School for 22 years until her retirement in 1996. She maintained many lifelong friends with her colleagues, enjoying their luncheon and telephone conversations as the years went by. Vicki was a devout Catholic and faithful member of The Church of St. Ann, where she was a lector, extraordinary minister of Eucharist, Rosary Altar Society member, and volunteer receptionist. Vicki enjoyed cooking, attending her children's and grandchildren's athletic events, visiting with neighbors and friends, and most especially relished vacations with her family. Vicki was an avid Yankees fan and rarely missed watching a game with her husband. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, who will be sorely missed. Daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Barone Argana, sister of the late Charles Argana and Lena Pella, Vicki is survived by her husband, Dennis W. Rosato; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and James Livecchi and Catherine Walachy-Florek and David Florek; six grandchildren Thomas, John (Megan) and Michael Livecchi, Marisa Walachy, Jaimie Laux (Mike), Amanda Natal (Anthony); one great-grandson, Spencer Natal; two sisters, Rita Cinquino and Marie Argana; several nieces and nephews, and special friends, Matt and Carol Treihart. The funeral will begin on Friday, Oct. 21, at 10 a.m. at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Rd., Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Rd., Lawrenceville 08648. Interment will follow at the Lawrenceville Cemetery. Calling hours for family and friends will be on Thursday, Oct 20, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
