RICHLAND – Fritz Rose Jr. passed away in Owensboro on Oct. 15, 2016. Fritz was born on Dec. 14, 1953, in Fort Sill, Okla. to Francis M. "FM" Rose Sr. and Betty Joann (Burden) Rose. Fritz was a member of Midway United Methodist Church, was a Veteran of the U.S. Army during Vietnam, member and past master of the Grandview Masonic Lodge, member of the Rockport American Legion, member of Fin, Fur, Feather. Also was a 32nd degree mason. He retired from Union Operator Local 181. Fritz was preceded in death by his father; sisters, Mary Herron and Teri Ball. Fritz is survived by his wife; Vicki (Douglas) Rose, whom he married on March 11, 1972, mother; Betty Joann Rose of Bartow, Fla.; three sons, Frank Rose and his wife Julie of Richland, Sam Rose and his wife Jessica of Cedar Park, Texas, Bruce Rose of Richland; brother, Bruce Rose and his wife Missy of Rockport, sister; B. Rose Crouch of Bartow, Fla.; grandchildren, Ciji Rose, Sydney Rose, Coleby Cline, Talen Rose, Nolen Rose, Lillix Rose, Analeese Rose, Hunter Rose, Madison Rose, Bruce Rose Jr., Hadley Rose. Fritz was a very loving son, husband, brother, father, papaw, and friend. Funeral Services will be Wednesday Oct. 19, at 11 a.m. at Boultinghouse Funeral Home with Pastor Adrian Tanner officiating. Burial will be in the Hackleman Cemetery, with Military Rites. Visitation will be Tuesday Oct. 18, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Masonic services will be at 7:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Gwaltney Memorial Park or Midway United Methodist Church. Messages of condolence may be left at
